Out of action since 2017, Indian tennis star Sania Mirza is all set to make a glamorous comeback in front of the camera to promote an ayurvedic hair oil brand. Associated with the brand since 2015, Sania – this time – will endorse the brand as a mother and will be seen talking about the post-pregnancy issues.
Sania and her cricketer-husband Shoaib Malik announced the birth of their first child in October and it took almost two months for their fans to get the first glimpse of their little one. Post that, the 32-year-old will now mark her return in a TV commercial. Speaking about the product, she was quoted as saying, “Motherhood has truly been a blessing for me. But I experienced hair fall combined with dry, lifeless hair after the birth of my child.”
“I then came to know that this is a common and persistent post-pregnancy problem that exists among women and I wish to sensitize them of the best solution available in the market. Kesh King has stayed true to its claims and my hair fall has reduced remarkably. It is nothing short of a miracle!”.
Starting her career as a teenager, Sania is no stranger to advertisements. It was during the beginning of her career that she became the face of Cadbury Bornvita, TVS Scooty, Sprite, Volini, Air India, Tata Tea, Hathway Cable, Emami and Adidas, but soon after getting married followed by a series of inconsistent performances and injuries, most of these aforementioned names pulled off the plug.
The tennis star has confirmed in a recent interview with TOI that she plans to make a comeback in the professional tennis arena in 2019.
