WWE wrestler and Playboy model Ashley Massaro was rushed to the hospital on Thursday morning. She was found unconscious in her apartment in Suffolk County, New York. The reports were answered by officials and they also tried CPR on their way to the hospital. However, she was later termed dead in the hospital. The cause of her death is uncertain but the reports classified the death as non-criminal.
Ashley was only 39 and a pure talent in the WWE universe. She had broken on the scene when she won WWE’s 2005 Raw Diva Search. Let us take a moment and look at some of the top moments from her life.

The Raw Diva Search was an annual event on WWE Raw, where they would select one winner to join the WWE roster and win $250,000. Ashley Massaro won the 2005 Raw Diva Search as well as the prize money but she did not get drafted in the show. She wanted to pursue professional wrestling as she came from a family of wrestlers who competed in the Amateur Wrestling section.

She had a brief WWE career from 2005-2008, which was full of eventful activities. The biggest highlight of her career was a match for the WWE Divas Championship at Wrestlemania 23 in 2007. She had also competed in the Playboy BunnyManie LumberJill match at Wrestlemania 24. Apart from these two major events, she spent a chunk of her career as the valet for WWE tag team champions Paul London and Brian Kendrick.

Ashley Massaro wanted to become a model along with being a wrestler. She was closely associated with Playboy for most of her wrestling career and graced the cover in April 2007.
