Bernard King has held the record for 37 years with his 60-point game for the Knicks in Christmas 1984. Will this finally be the year someone breaks the 60-point mark?

The best scoring performances of Christmas Day

LeBron is just 13 points away from surpassing Kobe Bryant as the top points scorer at Christmas this year, but it will take a lot more than that to challenge King’s 60 points in a single game.

Of course, Wilt Chamberlain finds his name on this list a couple of times as well, most notably scoring 59 points in 1961. The most recent run in the single-game scoring record at Christmas came from Tracy McGrady in 2002, going for 46. points against the pistons.

Believe it or not, as it stands, Rick Barry is the only player to score 50 points at Christmas in a win.
