Darrell Henderson injury update

For those of you who inserted Henderson (quad) into your Week 13 lineups after he was declared active, just know, we feel your pain. He didn’t register a single snap and was in an “emergency” role in a crucial week for fantasy playoff races. That said, we will have to pay more attention to it before a showdown with Arizona. However, considering he was healthy enough to be technically active, we assume Henderson will be ready this week.

However, if you play, you will probably at least be limited and share a backfield with Sony Michel, which is why we classify it as RB24 in standard and RB25 in PPR. Arizona has yielded some great performances to the RBs, but for the most part they are a strong defense against the position.

WEEK 14 STANDARD RANKINGS:
Field marshal | Running backwards | Wide receiver | Tight end | D / ST | Kicker

Melvin Gordon injury update

Gordon (hip) will likely be “questionable” for Week 14 against the Lions, and based on what we saw of Javonte Williams against Kansas City, Denver might be in no rush to get Gordon back in the lineup. We will have to monitor practice reports in the future.

Gordon ranks as our RB14 at standard and RB18 at PPR as the Lions are giving up the third-most fantasy points per game to the RBs. If Gordon is out, we will surely put Williams in our top 10 and he will have a top in RB1 overall.

WEEK 14 PPR RANKINGS:
Field marshal | Running backwards | Wide receiver | Tight end | D / ST | Kicker

Elijah Mitchell injury update

Mitchell is on the league’s concussion protocol, so as always, we won’t speculate on the status of the injuries. A concussion is usually simple: Either erase the protocols or not. For what it’s worth, he returned to Sunday’s game after receiving a blow to the head, but apparently showed symptoms similar to a concussion on Monday, prompting his entry into protocol.

The Bengals rank near the top 10 in fantasy points per game allowed to RBs, so Mitchell is our RB10 in the standard leagues and RB9 in the PPR leagues. If he’s out, we’re not sure whether Jeff Wilson Jr. (knee) or JaMycal Hasty will be the standout defenders, but if they’re both healthy it could be a committee situation.
