Will Stephen Curry play tonight?

The Warriors return to action on Monday when they travel to Indiana to face the Pacers. Curry’s availability for the game was up in the air.

On December 10, NBA Insider Marc Stein reported that the Warriors were “weighing a night’s rest” for the two-time MVP in Indiana, increasing the odds that he will break Allen’s record on Tuesday when they face the Knicks at Madison Square Garden.

According to Anthony Slater of The Athletic, the Warriors had yet to make a final decision on Curry’s status for Monday’s game as of Saturday night.

“We will make the right decision accordingly,” Curry responded when asked if he expected to play on Monday.

On Sunday, Slater reported that all Golden State veterans were expected to play Indiana, including Curry. Warriors head coach Stever Kerr then revealed after target practice on Monday that Curry will play.

Through 25 games this season, Curry is averaging 27.1 points, 6.3 assists, 5.6 rebounds and 1.7 steals on 43.3 percent shooting from the field and 40.4 percent from 3-point range. He missed a game with a bruised hip.
