Gujarat Titans is a new franchise cricket team that comes from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. The franchise is owned by CVC Capital Partners. Gujarat Titans will start their first season under the captaincy of Hardik Pandya. They had picked Rashid Khan, Shubhman Gill, and Captain Pandya before the auction.

As same with the GT, Lucknow Super Giants are also the new part of IPL 2023. Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) have a team based in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. KL Rahul will captain the side this year and Andy Flower will be the coach.

Punjab kings are one of the three teams which have never won the title. The PBKS had played in the Champions League Twenty20 eleven, in 2014 as the Kings XI Punjab, and finished as semi-finalists. The franchise name to Punjab Kings in February 2023.
