That’s a lot of green!

“My teammates do a great job of telling me to just be me, just go. It doesn’t matter if I’m hot or not,” Edwards said.

“If I’m not throwing the ball, PB [Patrick Beverley] looking at me crazy. Trainer [Chris Finch] looking at me crazy. Everybody looks at me crazy like, ‘What are you doing?’ I think they do a great job of giving me more confidence than I already have. “

Let’s take a look at some of the numbers behind the big sophomore night.

10: youngest with 10 triples in a game

Steph Curry? Klay Thompson? JR Smith? No!

Anthony Edwards stands alone as the youngest player in NBA history to drop 10 3-pointers in a single game.

At 20 years, 132 days, Edwards eclipsed the record previously held by Kyrie Irving (22 years, 311 days) for the youngest to do so.

After averaging 2.4 on 32.9 percent of three in his rookie season, Edwards is hitting 3.1 on 8.6 attempts on 36 percent in 28 games this season, while continuing to develop as a shooter from long range.

1: most of the three in franchise history

No other player in Minnesota Timberwolves history has hit more triples in a single game than Anthony Edwards.

Edwards’ 10 3s broke the previous record of eight he held alongside Kevin Love and Stephon Marbury.

After tonight’s performance, Edwards is only the seventh player in NBA history to score 2,000 points in his first 100 games at age 20 or younger.

4: Fourth highest scoring game of his career

Edwards is beginning to make these special scoring nights a little more frequent, dropping 48 points to the Golden State Warriors earlier this season.
