In this IPL season, two new teams become part of the tournament where both teams choose their captain, Hardik Pandya becomes captain of Ahemdabad and KL Rahul as captain of the Lucknow team.

Hardik Pandya has been appointed as the captain of the new IPL team Ahmedabad. Before this, he is a team player of Mumbai Indians.

Hardik Pandya praises MS Dhoni after becoming captain of IPL 2022

Under Dhoni’s captaincy Pandya made his debut for Team India in 2016. Many young players give credit to Dhoni for making their careers.

“I remember I gave some 22-24 runs in the first over of my debut. And I really felt that this is my first and last match. So when he asked me to bowl the second over, I thought he was telling someone else. After that, I did the over and then things changed. From here I learned that he will never tell that he is with you but he will always be with you.”

In IPL I have total play 92 matches, and make 1476 runs with help of 97 4s and 98 6s. In bowling he took 42 wickets with an average of 31.26.
