There are many bowlers who have performed brilliantly as a successful bowler in the IPL.

Bowlers who bowled the most dot balls

The first in this list is former Indian spin bowler Harbhajan Singh who has bowled 1268 dot balls in 160 innings in his IPL career. Apart from this, he has also taken 150 wickets at an economy of 7.07. Harbhajan is considered one of the experienced spin bowlers of the Indian team. He has played for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Mumbai Indians (MI) in IPL.

India’s brilliant fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar is second in this list after Harbhajan. He has played a key role as a successful bowler for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). Bhuvneshwar has made 1267 dot balls in his 132 innings and has also taken 142 wickets at an economy of 7.30.

Ravichandran Ashwin’s name is at third place in this list. Ashwin is such a bowler who has the ability to trap any batsman in his spin. Apart from the Indian team, this player has impressed everyone with his bowling in IPL as well. He has taken 145 wickets in his 164 innings and has bowled 1265 dot deliveries as a successful bowler. In IPL 2023, Ashwin will be seen playing for Rajasthan Royals.

Sunil Narine is also not far behind in the list of successful bowlers, playing a vital role as a prolific bowler for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) since making his IPL debut in 2012. He is fourth in the list of 1249 dot balls bowled in the history of IPL. Narine has so far taken 143 wickets in 134 IPL matches.

Lasith Malinga, who is considered one of the great bowlers of IPL, has also made it to the top five in this list. In IPL, he has taken 170 wickets at an economy of 7.14. Malinga has played a key role for Mumbai Indians and has been a mentor to the young bowlers.
