However, with so many young players progressing from academies and youth teams, each season brings some exciting new names. If you are a fan of this league and want to see more results from your favorite teams and players, FlashScore.com can help you with that.

However, some of the league’s brightest names will almost certainly follow through in the summer of 2023. Just a few of the more exciting talents we hope to see associated with clubs in the summer of 2023, or sooner, include the following .

1. Boubacar Kamara

Born in Marseille and playing for his childhood club, one might assume that Boubacar Kamara would be happy to stay where he is.

Despite being a key player for OM under Jorge Sampaoli and Andre Villas-Boas before him, Kamara is almost certain to leave the port city. Kamara, a fantastically gifted player who can play in midfield and defense, will be left without a contract in 2023 and is therefore expected to leave OM.

His arrival in England is almost a certainty, although AC Milan has been pushing hard to convince the player to come to Italy. Newcastle United are also interested as they see the versatile player as the perfect type of player to build their new dynasty.

Kamara is one of the most interesting players in Europe, and he definitely has the skills to make a consistent career at the top of European football.

2. Amine Goiri

Football Manager players will know the name, but at Amine Gouiri we have one of the most exciting forwards of his generation. Having scored 6 goals in just 12 games so far, and having scored another 4, this is the breakout season that everyone was waiting for with the former Lyon player.

Able to play on the wing and up front, Gouiri is a natural spiker with a penchant for lying down in front of his teammates. A very nice player to watch, look forward to seeing Gouiri leave Nice and become one of his many most respected talents.

A hard-working and finisher by nature, he is excellent at getting behind defenses and leading counter opportunities with his natural pace. On top of that, he brings a surprising level of physical power to the front. For a player of his stature, Gouiri is a good example of never judging a player by height alone.

3. Karl Toko-Camp

Although the Cameroon forward could be 29 years old, he has all the attributes to thrive in a Premier League team. After having played in Spain with Villarreal, the forward returned to France with Lyon and has so far shone for the Rhône side.

Toko-Ekambi, an exceptional shooting technique that has been refined since his wasteful days in Spain, is a versatile forward who can play across the front line and do well from numerous positions.

He has already scored nine goals and four assists this year, and has quickly become one of the most interesting players on the Lyon team. Along with a natural finishing ability, there is a happy mix of rhythm and strength. Toko-Ekambi displays all the skills one would like to see in a modern center forward, as well as a desire to improve season after season.

4. Seko Fofana

Former Udinese player Seko Fofana moved into the French game against Lens and has so far proven to be an absolute bargain. Three goals have come from midfield so far, but it’s his ability to run the game and move the ball forward that is so impressive.

Although Fofana would do well to become physically more robust on defense, he is an excellent ball carrier. He can dribble through the middle of the field and use his natural balance and strength to keep pursuers at bay. He can also choose passes wisely, can score goals, and brings natural running power to midfield that is absolutely vital.

Lens has impressed this year, and is dependent on Fofana and a few others. His ability to make decisive moves on and off the ball has quickly made him someone to watch as he enters his peak years.

5. Melvin Bard

Full-backs are in high demand these days, and Romaine Perraud’s departure for England left OGC Nice with a huge gap in the squad. However, the improvement on 20-year-old full-back Melvin Bard could mean he is the next to be sold by the Côte d’Azur club.

A fantastic young player, Bard offers effortless running down the wings. A goal and an assist have so far come to him in his fledgling first-team stage, while his ability to win aerial duels and to select his teammates on the wing has been highly praised.

A good passer of the ball, Bard tends to focus on smart passes on the inside of the opposition defense, or cuts the line, rather than crossing. If he can add a more consistent cross to his game, there is no question that Bard could play at a higher level.

6. Youcef Atal

The Algerian has long been considered a very interesting player, and it’s easy to see why. A fiercely fast player with a keen eye for goal, he is surprisingly two-legged and brings a natural enthusiasm to the band he plays for. Able to fill the position of left or right back, Atal has quickly established himself as one to watch in the French top flight.

An excellent enthusiasm for attacking combined with a full speed running style and a large natural center of gravity make Atal very difficult to stop. At 25, his only real weakness is his mediocre crossover. However, his ability to win the ball high up on the field, get ahead and find teammates with precise passes and cuts ensures that Atal is someone to watch over the present and the future.

Expect him to play in a different team or league by 2023.
