It might the first time that Lando Norris will take a position in the Australian Grand Prix, but the 19-year-old has definitely done it a million times on his swanky simulator. The driver, who is a part of the McLaren team, has a fancy set up in the living room of his flat where he plays all the video games, while also practicing for his race.

Who would not want this? You play and drive, and it still turns to be a productive investment of your time. The £30,000 simulator also has a Formula-1 steering wheel and graphics that give a life-like experience. The young F1 driver is really enjoying this practice avenue and said:
In terms of laps, I must have done 600 or something. I have a decent understanding. You get to a point where you can do so much on the simulator, but then it always changes when you get to the track and you get to drive it for real for the first time.
Lando also invited the team of Autosport to his flat and gave them a tour of his living room and simulator setup. While speaking to them, he said:
The Pro-Sim is pretty much the best simulator you can buy, because of the steering motor and the pedals. The force feedback we get through the steering is pretty much exactly the same as what we get in the actual car in terms of how heavy it is. The whole rig put together is a very nice layout. Five screens. Only two pedals, no clutch. Only brake and throttle.
Lando Norris will be making his debut this Sunday in the Australian Grand Prix for the McLaren Team. He is set to team up with fellow McLaren driver, Carlos Sainz.
As there can be no real substitute for actually going on the track and burning the tires, Lando has said that he enjoys playing the game and it actually helps him get better.

Fun fact: The teenage sensation has not one, but two simulators that cost £30,000 each. We believe he has two to enable multiplayer and beat his fellow mates at the race!
