Maria Sharapova isn’t just a class tennis player; with the looks and body of a supermodel, the Russian athlete has been the face of many beauty and fashion products. She has been on the cover of several fashion and sports magazines, and slayed it like a diva always. In fact, the five-time Grand Slam winner had lapped up so many endorsement deals in the past that she was named the Highest Paid Female Athlete by Forbes magazine in 2014, leaving Serena Williams behind.
If you are wondering what’s the beauty regime of the 31-year-old tennis sensation and how she manages to look good all the time, here are some tips shared by the athlete herself.
Looking at her flawless glowing skin, its hard to imagine that she must be doing rigorous practice for hours under harsh sun. To make sure her skin remains unharmed, Maria applies sunscreen almost as soon as she wakes up. She has been doing it since her teenage years.
When she’s playing tennis, Sharapova relies on Supergoop. Everyday Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 50, which she says has a lightweight texture and doesn’t sting her eyes as she sweats.
Secret of glowing skin
Along with applying sunscreen, there is one more thing the tennis ace does right after she wakes up – drinks plenty of water. It helps her remain hydrated and keeps her skin fresh and glowing. “I usually wake up and drink more than a half liter of water, just to get my mind ready and aware that I need to drink [water],” she said in an interview.
Getting enough sleep
It’s crucial that you take proper rest and have a sound sleep if you want to look fresh and remain active throughout the day. Sharapova says, “I love to sleep. I love taking naps. That’s been part of my regimen since I was a young girl. I used to have a morning and afternoon practice, and I’d come home and have lunch and then take a 45minute nap. To this day, I enjoy doing that if I have the opportunity.”

I could post the zucchini blossoms, grilled ? , summer tomatoes ?, fried scampi, boquerones, or the non gluten zucchini pasta we just inhaled at Lo Scoglio, but I’ll just share these figs that non apologetically delayed our departure ??♀️! Italy ??, you just do it right. #Top5BestMeals
Keeping your food simple is the key. Sharapova generally prefers to eat little chicken and lots of green vegetable before a match. She also loves to have fresh fruit juices that she likes to make on her own. To make her juice fresh, she generally adds kiwi and lemon.
Stretching, a warm-up jog on the beach, two hours of tennis practice, core exercises, Pilates and interval sessions on the bike or on hills and sand dunes are Sharapova’s favourite forms of exercises. To feel rejuvenated and energized for the next week, the stunner goes for weekly sports massages and baths, both ice and hot. She adds Epsom salts and lavender essential oil in her bath, she said to Harpersbazaar.
