Nia Jax shockingly named Ronda Rousey as her next challenger for the Raw Women’s Championship this morning at the NBCUniversal Upfront in New York City’s Radio City Music Hall.
The Irresistible Force revealed she wants to put her title on the line against Rousey at WWE Money in the Bank, much to the surprise of The Baddest Woman on the Planet. Never one to back down from either a challenge or an opportunity, a bewildered Rousey agreed to the match.
WWE fights may be flashy, hard and violent at times but the first Indian woman to get into that ring at the international level has beaten bigger odds at home to reach there.
Kavita Devi, who is better known in the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) international circles as "Hard KD", is currently training and wrestling in Orlando, Florida, in the United States as part of her three-year contract with the WWE.
Kavita, the first Indian woman to reach the international level in WWE, is no ordinary sportswoman.
Ronda Rousey is all set to challenge Nia Jax for the RAW women’s title at the Money In The Bank paper-per-view, though the feud does not seem to be the most well planned one. Nia just won the title from Alexa Bliss at Wrestlemania 34 and hasn’t really had a good run with it yet and Ronda, on the other hand, will be competing in just her second match, after the win with Kurt Angle over Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, in their mixed tag-team match.
With that being said, the match hasn’t been booked in the best possible sense, as neither one of the two stars is an actual heel and both look more or less like baby-faces, really trying hard to look bad.
Hopefully, the duo can put up a good match and make the fans happy. With that being said, here’s a look at five future opponents for Ronda Rousey, once she is done with Nia.
