We have seen some amazing transformations in the past by athletes who got back in shape. Fitness is ‘numero uno’ in the world of sports, and some stars are always setting high standards with their ripped bodies and clean looks.
Boxing is synonymous to being fit as the world’s greatest boxers are known to have some of the fittest bodies you will ever see. Every now and then, there comes up a story of an incredible transformation of an athlete who went from being hardly fit a completely chiselled boxer.
One such story is that of British boxing star Billy Joe Saunders. While his close pal and sparring partner Tyson Fury was in the news recently for his amazing transformation, it’s Joe’s turn now to make a statement with his two-month road to fitness.

UK based BT Sport compared two photos of Saunders, one from March this year and the second of the present day. The change is phenomenal as you can see the ripped body Saunders has developed ahead of his much-awaited bout against Shefat Isufi for the WBO super-middleweight title on May 18.
The caption read, “Same man, just two months apart… @saundersbillyjoe means business under new trainer Ben Davison.” Trainer to both Fury and Saunders, Davison has been the force behind both major transformations, as the two boxers geared up for their career-defining bouts.

Tyson Fury and Billy Saunders are very close to each other. From training together to hanging out to even buying identical Ferraris. The two have often made their friendship well known with many posts on their Instagram accounts as well.
Post Tyson’s headlining transformation, one could only imagine the motivation his close pal Saunders got. Two months of sweating it out in the gym, Saunders now look more ready than ever to take on his super-middleweight German opponent Shefat Isufi.
While Saunders and Shefat take it to the ring on May 18, Tyson gears up for his bout against the undefeated German Tom Schwarz in Las Vegas on June 15.
