British boxer Tyson Fury is all set to take the ring against Deontay Wilder on Saturday, December 1, 2018. The fight will be taking place at staples center which has previously hosted hall of famers such as Oscar De La Hoya, Vitali Klitschko, and Lennox Lewis.
While the fight being announced in mid-August, the self-proclaimed ‘Gypsy King’, Fury has shed 63 kilos in order to get back in shape.
Since beating Wladimir Klitschko in 2015, Fury has struggled with personal and mental health problems. He even failed a drugs test and was stripped of his title and boxing licence revoked.
But things had taken a drastic u-turn in last 18 months and his physical transformation has certainly surprised everyone and the secret is finally out as to what the boxer did to shed such amount of weight.
Fury has been living on peanut butter chicken every night for Nine weeks.
He got a friend and chef Tim Allcock to cook up the protein-packed supper for every night of his California camp.
At the end of 2017, Fury took the help of nutritionist Greg Marriott who set him up on a ketogenic diet. while fury was allowed to have cheat meals, he was no longer allowed to eat fish and chips.
His breakfast menu includes staple eggs and bacon alongside plenty of avocados, nuts, cheese, fish and meats. Things like pasta, cereal, rice, beans, lentils and most fruits are strictly banned.
Speaking to SunSport Allcock said, Fury was sick of cooking and eating the same old dish but that it would all be worth it on Sunday morning.
