Anthony Joshua is ruling the boxing ring right now and has come a long way from being an amateur boxer to becoming an undefeated heavyweight world champion and also a global superstar. The 29-year-old has been undefeated so far by winning all 22 bouts.
While the British boxer is currently enjoying a holiday in Jamaica, he took some time off to share images of his incredible transformation from ten years ago.
AJ’s amateur career kickstarted in 2009, the year he won the Haringey Boxing Cup and since then he has gone from strength to strength in his career. He took up boxing just one year prior to 2008 and the pictures show the amazing body transformation in his physical strength.
When AJ started boxing at Finchley ABC in North London he had a skinny frame in training .
Even at Amateur level, he was boxing at his best and winning trophies before he began to win the world title belts.
Those trophies turned into Olympic glory when he won the gold medal at the 2012 London Olympics in the super heavyweight category. (Below)
Now, Joshua is one belt away from becoming the undisputed champion of the world.
