Former boxing world champion Carl Froch got married to Rachael Cordingley in an intimate ceremony on May 25. The two took to their social media on June 3 to share the official photos from the day that have been sold to HELLO! Magazine.
They got married at one of the most exclusive country estates in Italy, at Villa Carmina, on a beautiful Umbrian hillside above the medieval town of Todi. The beautiful ceremony was attended by former world champion boxer David Haye and adventurer Ant Middleton.
Their proposal story is definitely one of the best in proposals in the history of boxing. Carl went down on one knee in the boxing ring after defending two of his super-middleweight world titles. As the crowd in the arena watched, he popped the question to Rachael. Five years down the line, the two have finally made it official.

“I felt like a champion on our wedding day. I felt like I’d won as by marrying Rachael I was making my love for her official,” Carl told HELLO! “I’ve won world titles, and I’ve been to Buckingham Palace to collect my MBE, but our wedding was the most massive occasion. It was one of the best days of my life.”
Their kids – Rocco, Natalia and Penelope – were assigned special responsibilities during the wedding. “It was worth the wait to have our children as part of the day. We wouldn’t have had it any other way,” said Rachael. “It was not just my and Carl’s day – it was the children’s day as well.”
Carl Froch was there in New York to commentate for the epic fight between Anthony Joshua and Andy Ruiz Jr. The boxing world was left in a state of shock with Joshua’s loss.
