The year brought new joy for Conor McGregor and longtime girlfriend Dee Devlin as the couple announced the birth of their second child on Friday. The UFC star announced the news to his followers on Instagram by posting a picture of him leaving the hospital with the little one and Conor Jr.
“Heading home with my two healthy babies and an energized and healthy superman 2019 is off to the best start! Thank you for the well wishes everybody” he captioned the image. The gender of their new child, along with a name, is yet to be revealed.
The couple revealed in July last year they were expecting their second child.
McGregor recently took to Twitter and hinted about his plans on returning to the octaring this year, but he could start with competing in another boxing match. The notorious one was beaten by Floyd Mayweather in the Irishman’s pro debut last year. Mayweather outclassed him (McGregor) over ten rounds in a contest which attracted millions of viewers despite the criticism, and the Irishman earned a career-high fight purse.
He also posted videos of himself training with Conor Jr as he looks to keep his legacy going. Conor Jr was born just three months before his dad made his professional boxing debut against Floyd Mayweather in August 2017.
