Mixed Martial Arts organisation ONE Championship has inked a multi-year deal with the sports broadcast channel Star Sports India. As part of the deal, the ONE Championship action will be broadcast and streamed live in India on the Star Sports cluster channels and Hotstar.
According to reports in MMA India, the mixed martial art company ONE Championship is eyeing the India market with great keenness. Speaking about the deal, Chatri Sityodtong, Group CEO and founder, ONE Championship said, “I am thrilled to announce that ONE Championship will now air in India on both Star Sports and Hotstar with a multiyear partnership, starting on March 31 with ONE: A New Era in Tokyo!”

The brand had recently signed ace Indian wrestler Ritu Phogat as part of its major extension plans in India. The company has Indo-Canadian MMA fighter Gurdarshan Mangat and Rajinder Singh Meena in its roster. They also have Indian female MMA fighter Priyanka Jeet Toshi on their roster.
