With his inherent style, the ability to pull any ball off the back foot and pull off almost anything under the sun, Shikhar Dhawan would have definitely been a model, if he wasn’t an internationally renowned cricketer. His style isn’t simply limited to his appearances off the field.
From the twirling of his trademark handlebar moustache to his ear piercings, everything Shikhar does on the field becomes a style statement.
The southpaw from Delhi never fails to bring something new to the field whether it’s his Southpaw hairdo or his Ghajini inspired haircut or even his Tenali Raman tail.
Shikhar doesn’t sport just caps, the left handed opening batsman is a big fan of headgears- Turbans, hats, hoodies and beanies. And he looks great in each one of them.
“Gabbar” as he is fondly called by his teammates is also huge tattoo freak. A rebel by nature, Shikhar got his first tattoo at the age of 15 that too without informing his parents.
His adventures with ink include tattoos of Arjuna from Mahabharata, Lord Shiva, Baba Deep Singh, a Carpe Diem stencil, a work-in- progress leafless tree and his beautiful wife Ayesha’s name.
A trend-setter when it comes to everything he does.Shikhar’s dressing is as flamboyant as his play and he loves to sport printed shirts and t- shirts, spunky blazers and traditional Indian wear.
You simply can’t take your eyes off Shikhar, we know we can’t.
