A complete human that dedicated a large chunk of his youth years to a sport that is a religion to us, turns 46 today. Sachin Tendulkar has given more to the country than most other sportsmen ever have, from playing with injuries to breaking all the records around the world and raising the Indian flag with pride, the little master has done it all.
His journey began back in 1989 when he was just 16 years old and was already facing some of the finest bowlers in world cricket. Following is a picture gallery of some of the best throwback moments in the champion’s life.

While we first thought that the Sachin and Shah Rukh picture was the maximum stardom we could see, we were clearly wrong. This picture was from the event for Gujarat aid after the earthquake and has too many mammoth personalities on one stage!
