Arjun Tendulkar, son of legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar was out for a duck on his debut match against Sri Lanka. Co-incidentally Sachin was also out for a zero in his debut ODI match.
Arjun Tendulkar was seen struggling in the middle and was finally out in the 11th ball he faced. He had earlier taken one wicket in the first innings of the game. He had trapped Kamil Mishara lbw to bag his first India Under-19 scalp.
He finished with the figures of 1 for 33 in the 11 overs he bowled.
Sri Lanka U-19 team posted 244 on the board, In reply, India U-19 team led by Anuj Rawat piled 589 runs on board. Opener Atharwa Taide scored 113 off 160 balls, while Ayush Badoni smashed an unbeaten 185 off 205 balls for India.
For Sri Lanka, Kalhara Senarathne returned with figures of 6 for 170.
