Former Australia pacer Brett Lee’s affair with Bollywood continues as he will be seen in an upcoming release UNindian, which stars Tannistha Chatterjee opposite him. Lee is currently travelling all over India to promote his first feature Bollywood film ‘UNindian’.
While on talking to media on one of his promotional visits, Brett revealed his excitement for being part of a full feature film. He said, “I want people to watch this film. This is one film which has a good mix of comedy, passion and entertainment.” On being asked whether films have taken place of cricket as the first priority for him, Lee said, “It’s not like that. I still love cricket. I will always have immense respect for the game. Films are my second innings in life.”
Speaking on India’s cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar’s biopic ‘Sachin: A Billion Dreams’, Lee said, “I am very excited to watch a film based on Sachin’s life. It is always inspiring to watch a film based on a sports person’s life. Sachin is a very good human being.”
Brett also spoke on Virat Kohli’s current form. He said, “I think Virat Kohli is the best cricketer at the moment. Sachin Tendulkar was a great batsman and I believe Virat is best in what he does. His aggression is something very impressive.”
