India beat Australia by 8 wickets in the Test series against Australia.
It was not a great start of the series for India as they lost the first Test in Pune and it looked as if the Indians will go down in the series but it was not to be. They made an epic comeback in Bengaluru and from there the war of the words began too.
The Ranch Test saw the best match of the series despite it ending as a draw. Both the teams fought hard in that match, and after having tasted the success once in the series, both teams played some hard cricket.
The draw in Ranchi meant that Dharamsala was going to decide who had the last laugh. It was India in the end who prevailed. Captain Steve Smith said that this was the best series he has been a part of in a long time.
