Rising Pune Supergiant batsman MS Dhoni smashed 61 runs off 34 balls to win the match for his side and that too on the last ball, living up to his reputation of a finisher. Dhoni had been criticised massively for his poor form with the bat in the last few matches of IPL 2017. However, he came good in the last match against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
The timing of the knock is very important as Pune are looking to get things sorted as the tournament reaches the half-way stage of the tournament. The Twitterati world hailed MS Dhoni for his super knock on Saturday. From Indian captain Virat Kohli to Virender Sehwag, everyone praised the former Indian captain.
Mumbai Indians batsman, who is healing an injury, Ambati Rayudu went one step further in praising the Captain Cool. While he praised Dhoni for his superb knock, he also took a jibe at the brother of the owner of Rising Pune Supergiant, Harsh Goenka. He had been amidst controversy in the recent past for taking a potshot at Dhoni.
When Dhoni won a game for RPS, Ambati thought of giving it back to Harsh Goenka in his own manner.
This is what Ambati Rayudu tweeted after Dhoni’s heroics:
Great knock @msdhoni . Can some one plz gift a mirror to @hvgoenka.

It is very brave of Rayudu to write such things for Harsh Goenka, considering he is currently playing in the Indian Premier League, where you never know for which team you might be playing next. Rayudu currently plays for Mumbai Indians and his support of MS Dhoni is quite admirable.
