In last few months, Indian cricket team have a new new issue despite being on a splendid run across formats. The latest issue which has been in news quite a lot is which batsman should bat at No. 4 position. Kedar Jadhav is one of the latest victim of this issue, getting dropped from the T20I side against New Zealand.
Speaking about this issue, Jadhav is perfectly alright with batting at any position the team needs. “Position does not matter to me, as long as team is winning. I am ready to bat at any position for India,” said Kedar to media during the The Red Carpet at The Inaugural Indian Sports Honours Award.
There is severe competition for the No. 4 spot now with the emergence of Manish Pandey, Hardik Pandya and also Ajinkya Rahane, who is constantly knocking on the doors for a spot in India’s limited-overs team. Rahane more often than not has been used as a makeshift opener in ODIs.
