Indian Premier League franchise Kolkata Knight Riders have denied reports that they are planning to play a 3 match T20 series against Pakistan Super League franchise Peshawar Zalmi.
There were reports circulating in Indian and Pakistani media that the IPL franchise would be taking on the Pakistan Super League Champions in a three-match series.
KKR won’t be playing any unauthorized games/leagues as some false reports are claiming.

Venky Mysore, who is also the CEO of KKR also denied the reports, claiming, “I just had a word with Shah Rukh and he told me that he has been so busy shooting these days that he didn’t even know that any such league was happening in Pakistan or Dubai, let alone calling any franchise owner and congratulating him on winning the tournament.”
With the current tensions between India and Pakistan due to various political factors, the match was always unlikely to happen and KKR have stated the inevitable.
