Kuldeep Yadav, when dreaming about playing for India as a kid, could not have asked for a better debut than the one which he had for India against Australia in the fourth Test at Dharamsala. On a first day pitch which wasn’t offering much assistance to spinners and where the behemoths of Indian cricket like Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja were finding it hard to trouble the Australian batsmen, Yadav completely turned the tide in India’s favor with his excellent four-wicket haul. This led to India wrapping up the Australian innings for only 300 runs, which looked like a highly improbable task after the excellent start which the Australian team had.
Kuldeep’s efforts were appreciated by most cricket experts and also impressed Indian legends like Sachin Tendulkar and Anil Kumble. It also seems that Kuldeep has a humorous side to him, as in the post-match conference, Kuldeep mercilessly trolled the Australian team.
Kuldeep revealed that he had learned how to bowl the flipper from Australian legend Shane Warne himself and how great it felt for him to dismiss the Australian batsman with the tricks of the trade he learned from the Australian.

The young left-arm chinaman is riding high on confidence and this was savagery at its absolute best by the Kuldeep!
