The third Test between India and Australia has seen the two teams fighting hard to move one level up. This match, unlike the last two Tests has seen both the teams going shoulder-to-shoulder in the match.
The Ranchi crowd, however, disappointed as there were not many spectators in the stand. All this might be changing on the fifth day of the Test as Ranchi’s own son, former Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni came to watch the last day’s proceedings of the match.
India are looking to take the remaining six wickets as Australia’s Peter Handscomb and Shaun Marsh are making it tough for Indian bowlers to crash the gate.

Even on the fifth day of the Ranchi Test, the stands are not fully packed. MS Dhoni’s presence in the ground might just make the Ranchi people come and see the game. Ranchi, for sure, was missing Dhoni’s presence in the middle of the match.
Here is the video:
Before the match, Indian coach Anil Kumble had said that the Indian team would like to see Dhoni coming to watch the game. But Dhoni could not make it to the match on the first four days as he was busy leading his state side Jharkhand in the Vijay Hazare Trophy.
Dhoni led Jharkhand to the semi-finals of the match, where they lost to Bengal by 41 runs.
