Likes of Ambati Rayudu and Mohammed Shami off late were dropped from the Indian squad as they failed to pass this test. All the Indian cricketer off late are taking test whether capped or uncapped.
And there is one player who has just left Virat Kohli behind in fitness level. Himachal Pradesh and Kings XI Punjab player Mayank Dagar recently cleared the Yo-Yo fitness test.
According to an Instagram story shared by the Dagar, he scored 19.3 in the Yo-Yo test. Before him, Virat Kohli and Manish Pandey were the top scorers in the test. Kohli managed to score 19, while Pandey trumped him with 19.2.
Mayank Dagar is the nephew of former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag. He is an offspinner and was a very crucial player for India U-19 team in 2016 World Cup. He was the second highest wicket-taker of the tournament.
