IPL is not just about the game but a pool of all aspects of cricket and its lifestyle. Here, we have seen cricketers sharing emotional moments with their families and fans. From Dhoni’s daughter cheering up for him from the pavilion to Yuzvendra Chahal dedicating his Man of the Match trophy to his father, these moments are special in their own way.
Recently, Sunrisers Hyderabad’s David Warner too had an adorable moment with his daughter on the ground.
Sunrisers beat Chennai Super Kings in an exciting match on Wednesday and of course, the ground was full to the capacity and cheering for the home team at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Hyderabad.
But one special fan who stole the limelight was David Warner’s daughter. She was seen holding a placard at the start of the game with “Go Daddy” written on it. The cute little munchkin was grinning all the time while cheering for her dad.
Here is a video shared by IPL T20’s Instagram page which will make your day!
David Warner was all smiles after seeing his daughter on the big screen. And, so are we!
He didn’t disappoint his daughter or his team as he smashed 50 runs off just 25 balls when SRH came to bat in the second innings. His powerful knock in the powerplay helped the team achieve the target in the 17th over itself. After the win, SRH moved up the table to the fifth position, owing to their superior net run-rate.
Warner received the ‘Man of the Match’ award for his blistering knock and acknowledged the support he has got from his family and all his fans across the world.
Speaking at the post-match presentation, he said, “I have two beautiful children, one more on the way, and a beautiful wife and I can’t thank them enough. I have fantastic support from over the world and it has been overwhelming here in India.”
