Rohit and Ritika’s is a cute love story, which is full of romance, a long courtship period, followed by straight out of a Hollywood style marriage proposal. Let’s have a look at their beautiful love story.
“Jab We Met”
Before they started dating – Rohit Sharma and Ritika Sajdeh met as professionals. Ritika was a sports event manager and she used to take care of Rohit’s cricket engagements. But soon their professional relationship turned into something special and they became the best of friends. And as we see in movies, their friendship soon turned into love and the couple decided to officially get hooked. For all those who don’t know, Ritika is also Yuvraj Singh’s rakhi sister.
“Mujhse Shaadi Karogi?”
After dating each other for six years, Rohit popped the question to Ritika. Rohit proposed his lady love at a place that holds a lot of importance in his life. He went down on his knees and popped the question to her at the Borivali Sports Club, Mumbai. Borivali Sports Club is the same ground where Rohit started his career at the age of 11. And as can guess, Ritika accepted the proposal.
Rohit shared the news of his engagement on social media with a Tweet: “From best friends to soulmates, couldn’t get any better.” And soon Rohit and Ritika decided to tie the knot on December 13, 2015. It was a star-studded wedding that took place in Mumbai’s Taj Lands Hotel. Their lavish wedding was attended by who’s who of the cricket fraternity, Bollywood and business world.
Today, the duo completes three years of being happily married. The duo perfectly complements each other and are still going strong. A dreamy happily ever after story indeed.
