Health drink brand, Boost, has appointed a new young cricketing duo as their brand ambassadors and it is a great marketing move. The ‘secret of your energy’ brand also has former Indian skipper MS Dhoni and current Indian skipper Virat Kohli as their brand ambassadors.
The brand has signed Rishabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer as their brand ambassadors and it could well be a move to attract the young audience as these players are gradually growing into sports icons. It will not be surprising to see a feature advertisement with all the four Indian cricketers.
Boost has always been associated with cricketers and has been setting the idea of young kids getting the right nutrition through their drink. Rishabh and Shreyas are quite easily the perfect fit as they are the top young achievers the Indian team has seen in the past year.
Rishabh Pant on the collaboration with Boost said, “I am delighted to be a part of the Boost family, a brand that has been associated with sports and has been loved by kids since decades. Every kid needs an inspiration in his life, in my case it was my family that always encouraged me, and Boost is doing the same by inspiring a lot of kids in the country to play a bigger game.”
Shreyas Iyer commented, “Boost has an iconic presence in India with legends of the game like Virat Kohli and Mahendra Singh Dhoni associated with it. I’m humbled to be part of such a brand and I’m looking forward to a super-energetic innings with Boost. I highly resonate with the brand’s value of taking on bigger and tougher opponents and hope to learn more on my journey with Boost.”
The association of Boost with cricketers goes all the way back to Kapil Dev after his amazing performance against England in 1990. Sachin was the next in line and the baton has now been passed onto these two new and young cricketers.
