Virat Kohli keeps knocking them off the park. Tasting immeasurable success on the cricket field, breaking records left, right and centre for fun, Virat has also turned into a dashing entrepreneur off the field. Continuing his hot streak, Kohli has now announced his latest venture, the launch of his very own fragrance line from his One8 brand.
Kohli made the announcement through a video on his Instagram, claiming the success of the One 8 brand has been a proud journey for him and his team. Kohli wrote, “Excited to launch the all-new One 8 fragrances. It’s been one hell of a ride for the team! And these have been carefully crafted for over a year in France.”
As Kohli mentions on his Instagram, the fragrances have been developed in the European country of France which is well-renowned for developing some of the finest scents in the world.
A press release by One8 gives more information about the product, writing, “The marquee product offerings by One8 Fragrances include pocket sprays starting from as low as INR 75, along with deodorants – including Aqua, Willow, Intense, Active, Fresh, and Pure – priced at an extremely affordable price point of INR 225. The collection also has a range of Eau De Parfum (EDP) such as Aqua, Intense, Fresh and Pure, which are priced at INR 1,495. The fragrances have been created by some of the most premium French Perfumeries. With this collection, One8 Fragrance aspires to provide the masses with access to luxury at an affordable price.”
The perfume fragrance is being exclusively sold on popular E-commerce website Myntra.com and a 100ml bottle of the perfume is currently being shipped at Rs. 1495.
Hitting sixes off the park
With the launch of his fragrance line, Kohli continues to expand what is already a pretty impressive business empire. Kohli already has launched a plethora of brands which has already set him up for life, long after he is done with the game. Kohli has invested wisely in various business ventures which are starting to turn in a healthy profit for the Delhi batsman.
He first launched his own clothing line named WROGN, which has targetted the youth. The line has been a roaring success so far, with the shirts and other merchandises from the line being popular among the young guns due to Kohli’s mass appeal.
He has also invested in a chain of gyms across India, tying up with Chisel India and CSE.
Tying up with PUMA, he also launched the One8 brand which initially specialized in shoes and sneakers but are now venturing out in the highly competitive fragrance market.
With so many brands and a line of endorsement deals to go along with it, Kohli has established himself as one of the highest paid sportspersons in the world, ranking 83 in the Top 100 highest paid athletes in the world in 2018.
