Batting first Chennai Super Kings rode on Suresh Raina’s unbeaten 57 runs to guide his team to a total of 168 runs in Mumbai against Mumbai Indians.
In reply, Mumbai Indians had the most dismal start as they lost Shikhar Dhawan early in the chase but Nayar along with Sachin Tendulkar came in with a stand of 66 runs for the second wicket. Tendulkar eventually scored a total of 48 runs in that particular game while Nayar and Pollard scored 27 apiece.
Ambati Rayudu was the only other player to get into the double figures as Mumbai innings were concluded for 146/9 in 20 overs to hand a win to CSK by 22 runs.
