India’s greatest cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, on this day back in 2012, played his final ODI innings for India at Dhaka. Interestingly, Tendulkar started his ODI career by playing against Pakistan and ended the same way. It was the 5th match of Asia Cup 2012, in which India were asked to chase 330. Opening batting with Gautam Gambhir, Tendulkar provided a brilliant after losing his partner for duck. After losing the first wicket, Tendulkar along with Virat Kohli had 133-run stand which laid the foundation of India’s victory and another huge successful chase. Tendulkar scored a classy 52 off 48 balls, including 5 fours and 1 six. Moreover, it was not expected to be Tendulkar’s last innings as it was realized only after 9 months.
