Ahead of the first ever tri-nation T20I series among Test playing nations, England all-rounder David Willey displayed his batting prowess during the practice match against Prime Minister’s XI at Canberra. Willey, who opened batting for England along with James Vince and chasing only 137, the left-handed English player slammed 5 sixes and a four off PM’s XI captain Nathan Lyon’s over.
It was only the 6th over of the match, when Willey slammed 34 runs off the over by hitting 5 back-to-back sixes and then ended with a four. Further, Willey was dismissed by Mitchell Swepson for 79 off 36 balls, though England chased the target easily in 12.4 overs with the loss of two wickets.
