17-year old Sandeep Lamichhane has been grabbing all the headlines of late. After becoming the first ever Nepal cricketer to be sold in IPL auction, Sandeep continued his good form with his brilliant leg-spin bowling in the recently concluded List A match against Kenya in ICC World Cricket League Championship Division Two. Sandeep scalped 5 wickets for 20 — best ever list bowling figure for any Nepal bowler. Batting first, Kenya had a stable start with no wickets until the 16th over with the score of above 60 on board. But then came Lamichhane, who turned the course of Kenya’s innings with his 5-wicket haul and made the opponent score only 177 with the loss of 8 wickets at the end of 50 overs. Lamichhane bowled 5 maidens during his 10-over spell.
