Having lost 5 wickets at 161, Tendulkar and Kapil batted together for next 57 balls and collected 46 runs. Kapil departed after contributing with 24 off 28, while Tendulkar remained unbeaten at 28 off 43 in order to post a decent total of 225 in 50 overs. Later, Anil Kumble’s assault blew away West Indies as they were bowled out for mere 123. Kumble took 6 for 12.
