John W Henry the owner of Premier League side Liverpool enjoyed a great season last year as the Reds reached the final of UEFA Champions League before falling on the final hurdle against Real Madrid. It was not only Liverpool, but his Major League Baseball team Boston Red Sox won the World Series last year.
Henry and Fenway Sports Group (FSG) took over Liverpool for £300m in 2010. This year to Liverpool has made a great start to the season thanks to the American businessman and have positioned themselves as serious title contenders this season.
Now that sport of baseball has taken a backseat due to offseason, the Liverpool owner is busy looking to sell his Florida mansion. The 69-year-old who owns Boca Raton home could see him earn $25m.
The majestic mansion owned by Henry and wife Linda Pizzuti is more than 27,000 square feet, and it includes seven bedrooms and 19 bathrooms.
Apart from the bedrooms and bathrooms, the mansion also features recording studio, outdoor wood-burning pizza oven, a movie theatre, and an underground wine cellar ready to stock 1,000 bottles.
Henry’s home in Florida was brought by him 27 years ago for just $850,000. Even at this price ($25m), the sale of the property would be his best deals.
