Former Arsenal and Germany footballer, Lukas Podolski is living his best life since retiring. He has entirely dedicated himself to the food business with one ice cream parlour and a couple of fast food joints. Apart from that, the German also owns a clothing store.
He is definitely a cut above the rest as he has opened a kebab store in Cologne. This is Lukas’ second kebab store in the city. It was a move that was always coming. This is mainly because when he launched his first fast food joint, it was an instant hit. The customers absolutely loved the food and queued up for as long as FIVE hours to get a bite.

He had opened his first store almost a year ago and it was a wise decision to extend such a prospering business. Podolski has expanded the Mangal Doener chain in Kalk adhering to this success. During the first launch, he was at the store and had put on quite a show for his customers. He also slicked some meat for the late-night snack that the joint offers. However, he was not at this opening as Vissel Kobe took most of his attention.
As mentioned before, he also owns an ice cream store in his hometown which makes him quite the veteran from a sports background in the food industry.
Additionally, he was also seen talking about adopting a new training culture – sumo wrestling. He really seems to have picked up on the Japanese culture. Let us hope this training works for him as his team is not doing quite well in the J-League. Lukas also stripped down from captaincy as the team did not perform well last season.
However, Lukas Podolski seems to be playing all the right passes in the fast food industry. We could soon see him become the king of a large fast-food chain.
