It is a common sight with footballers setting trends with their lifestyle. Right from their hair to football shoes fans look to adapt to their idol’s fashion sense. Flashy boots is something that can catch anyone’s attention as footballers are provided with new design and model by their respective brands.
Speaking about brands Adidas on Thursday unveiled the company’s latest boot, the Copa 19 which was unveiled by Juventus striker Paulo Dybala in Milan.
The Juventus striker is the new face of the Copa brand, and wore a blacked-out version during Italian champion’s 2-1 Champions League loss to Manchester United on Wednesday evening. That boot was completely black, bar the words ‘AREA 19’ and Thursday’s date, a collaborative nod to the boot’s unveiling.
According to the Mirror this shoes is a re-imagination of the 1980s classic Copa Mundial and designed to maximise movement and featuring a new fusion frame, teaming K leather with a laceless upper in a bid for enhanced comfort, while Adidas claim ” an anatomical upper mimics a barefoot experience”.
Speaking exclusively to the website (The Mirror) in Milan on Thursday he said: “I’ve always been a fan of the Copa because of the classic look and incredible first touch. It suits my style of play and my personal style too. “The new boot has some great new features and a progressive design. I’m looking forward to seeing how far my game can improve with these boots.”
