Forget grapes, beef and red wine – Argentina fashion is all set to enter the UK market. Brighton’s defender Ezequiel Schelotto is the man behind bringing UK fashion to the United Kingdom. His boutique name is Forget Me Not.
Ezequiel Schelotto has just opened a boutique in the city and has filled his store with some of the most stylish clothing his country. And being an Argentine one would not be surprised that soon Lionel Messi will be knocking his door for the latest stylish clothes. Messi is a good friend with Ezequiel Schelotto.
Forget Me Knot sells high-end ladies’ garments from his country’s top designers. And reportedly Messi’s wife Antonella Roccuzzo and Cesc Fabregas’ wife Daniella Semaan are already a huge fan of the clothing range that boutique is offering.
Schelotto and his wife Gisela along with two Argentinian friends started trading last month. Despite having no knowledge about the clothing business – Schelotto is pretty sure that bringing Argentinian fashion in England will be a success.
The defender himself is pretty fashion conscious and talking to Sun he said – “We really believe in these brands and that’s why we were really interested to start this project.”
“We are both Argentinian so we know about the quality of them. Our friends (business partners Narela Ortolani and Sebastian Puga) don’t need to explain anything about the brands when you hear the names you say ‘Wow’,.” he added.
When asked about what made him open the shop in Brighton, the defender said: “The idea of opening a shop in the city is great because I really love Brighton.
“It’s such a good city for opening the shop for the tourists and the people. I love the fans, they are very loyal. I’m really happy in Brighton and I’ve chosen to expand here. But the business is a good business and I can still be involved wherever I go.”
Forget Me Not was the brainchild of Narela and Sebastian, who have backgrounds in marketing and accountancy.
