This year’s FIFA Women’s World Cup will kickstart on 7th June and its preparations continue on all fronts, with Nike launching the ‘Unite Totale’ sneaker collection – a 12-shoe women’s exclusive assortment that features aesthetics designed to celebrate this summer’s tournament host.
In honour of the Women’s World Cup, the ‘Unite Totale’ collection references the simplicity of French style, with elements of the French team’s jerseys utilized across the range.
‘Unite Totale’ features two Nike Air Max 98 versions, a Nike Air Max Plus, the Nike React Element 55 and the Benassi Slide Lux. Just as on the French jersey, each shoe is marked with the phrase “Nos Differences Nous Unissent,” – “Our differences unite us,” – acting as a strong reminder of the unifying power of diversity.
Let’s take a look inside the collection.
The collection consists of React 55 that have chunky and cutting-edge midsole. The stylish and street-ready look is finished off with a metallic Swoosh.
They have the trending animal print jeggings and t-shirt co-ord sets as well.

The Air Max 98 have multi-colour detailing all over the shoe. The criss-cross lace detailing makes it even more attractive.
The collection also features a street style striped jersey.

The futuristic pair’s upper has been crafted from a clean white mesh construction while its icy opaque midsole features a dot pattern. Contrasting blue then comes in on the Swoosh insignia found on the lateral portion of the midsole, toe vamp and heel tab.

The Zoom 2K is an interesting shoe. They look Retro but they also look current or modern.
Materials aren’t anything special as Neoprene and mesh make up most of the build. Synthetic overlays are in place to add to its Retro flare while colour blocking on the shoe has been surprisingly good with each new version seen.

These Pluses combine a more bold dose of navy stripes and dots than some of the other pairs in the pack: the former appears splayed across the toe box, while the latter graces the quarter in vertical fashion and the heel in horizontal fashion.

Air Max Dia has an exaggerated midsole which creates a lifted look. A translucent woven upper contributes to the sleek, airy look, and the Max Air unit cushions every step.

The rest of the collection sees the Air Max 720, Air Max Dia, VAPORMAX 2019, Zoom 2K, Air Jordan 1, Epic React FK2 and Benassi JDI decked out in a white base that’s punctuated by the French hexadot pattern and accented in rose gold.
Along with the footwear, Unité Totale also boasts three street-ready takes on the classic football kit, inclusive of a dress, retro-styled jersey and graceful T-shirt with hexadot arms.
The ‘Unité Totale’ collection revels in the perfect combination of French fashion and sporting exuberance. The collection releases on May 16.
