There is no doubt that the Belgium National Team is a star-studded outfit. From Vincent Kompany to Romelu Lukaku, the national team does possess many players that are associated with top clubs in Europe. One such top player is Eden Hazard, and he is one that does not need any introduction.
However, this is not about the stats or footballing achievements of the Belgian, it is about his notorious behavior and escapades from the stadium. Also, about his undying love for hamburgers made at a particular joint in Belgium.

This story goes way back but has only just circulated and been confirmed. In 2011, Eden Hazard was substituted in a game against Turkey. However, he did not just stick to the dugout or the dressing room. The forward got a sudden urge to have a hamburger and left the stadium premises along with a bunch of friends. That was quite some adventure. As he left the stadium without permission, he had to serve a two-match ban handed to him by then-coach George Leekens.
AS English also posted a picture of the Belgian with a burger on their Twitter handle with his quote, “my post-match burger made me a legend in Belgium.”
Fun fact: He loves the hamburger so much, his mother is reminded of getting it with her every time she makes a trip to London!
Unfortunately, this is not the end of his notorious incidents that might have or have landed him in trouble.
Back in 2012, Hazard signed a deal with the blues and to celebrate he went out with a teammate Rio Mavuba and they partied till the early hours of the morning. That is great, it is perfect to celebrate such a huge signing, but not when you have a game the next day, oops! Hazard was unaware that there was a match the next day.
The incident was never spoken of since that day and Mavuba has finally opened up about it after eight whole years. Back to the story, Eden did play the match even after being slightly hungover and drunk; he had barely slept either. However, such stories have a grand ending on most occasions, and so did this one.
Not only did Eden Hazard play in the team, he also went on to score a hattrick and register himself at Stamford Bridge.
