The “In My Feelings” artist seems to be a jinx for the sports stars. Supposedly, the athletes who get clicked with the rapper, seem to lose their next match in a few days!
Layvin Kurzawa has become the latest victim of the ‘Drake Curse’ following Paris Saint Germain’s (PSG) shock thrashing at the hands of Lille on Sunday evening.
The PSG defender was a part of the side that emphatically lost 5-1 to Lille – the club’s heaviest league defeat in 19 years.
And it’s not the first time a sports star has met the famous singer and then suffered defeat in their next game in the past couple of months. Evidently, there is a series of events that have lead to the phrase ‘Drake Curse’. There are other sports stars who lost their next game after getting a selfie or picture with the music sensation.

Earlier, when the star rapper was rumoured to be dating Serena Williams, he showed up during US Open semi-finals in 2015 and the tennis player lost to a massive underdog.
Paul Pogba is also another huge name that is on the list that has suffered from the supposed ‘curse’.
The Frenchman smiled for a picture with Drake after a performance at the Manchester Arena on March 11 while Manchester United team-mates Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard watched from a box. After four days, his team was dumped out of FA Cup by Wolves.
Sergio Aguero took a picture with Drake on March 10 and a month later he missed a penalty as City lost to Tottenham in the Champions League.
Conor McGregor lost to Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229 after he hung out with Drake at the weigh-ins.
Drake used to actively hang out with the Kentucky basketball team, who have not won a championship since he gave them engraved rings in 2012.
