Fashion and football go hand-in-hand. And when it’s about putting their best foot forward in the biggest footballing event of the planet, players also focus hard on hitting it right on the hairstyle department.
This results in few cool and few uncool experiments. In the quest to take the limelight away from Neymar’s ever-changing hairstyle in the World Cup, the Mexican squad members have decided to go all blonde before their match with Brazil.
Confirming the rumours, few star players of the Mexican Squad have already been spotted acing the blonde style game during their training session at the Samara Stadium on Sunday.
To name a few Mexican stars who have suddenly gone blonde before the game are Javier Hernandez and Miguel Layun.
Interestingly, during the 1998 World Cup, the entire Romanian team opted to go with all black hair after topping in Group G, ahead of England. However, they lost to Croatia in the Round of 16, which put a full stop to their World Cup dreams in the season.
Hopefully, colour blonde brings good fortune for the Mexican team that has performed phenomenally well in the World Cup so far to confirm their spot in the Round of 16.
