With the future of Brazilian international Neymar at the Nou Camp uncertain, it seems that there is a new story going around now, involving Barcelona and Juventus’ Paulo Dybala. The Argentine international is said to be in secret talks with the Catalan outfit’s chiefs, as per these claims coming from the Don Balon now.
There is still no confirmation whether the move will get completed or not, though it seems that the possibility of the exit of Neymar from the club might have triggered them. The move will depend upon whether or not the former Santos man, who joined Barca back in 2013 leaves the club or changes his mind and decides to stay.
If Neymar does indeed go, it might force the Spaniards to make a move for Dybala and the club are said to be willing to pay Juve a fee of around €120m for the 23-year-old superstar, who is considered a natural successor to the Brazilian international.
With the former Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain willing to pay a fee of €222m, it seems that Barca might be more than happy to let him go and have already found a potential replacement, in the form of Dybala. Despite all the reports, Juventus CEO Beppe Marotta has dismissed all the rumours and has suggested that the player is going nowhere with his recent comments.
“When a player is happy to stay at Juventus, then he can stay with us for as long as he wants.”
An interesting story is developing here and it will be interesting to see what Barca decides to do next, with PSG knocking on their doors as well.
