Real Madrid are all set to make a move for Chelsea's Eden Hazard in the upcoming summer, as per the reports from the Guardian.
It is all but understood that the Galacticos will make a major reshuffle in the squad as many of the players are being rotten on the bench. Players like Isco, Alvaro Morata and James Rodriguez are certain to the leave the premises in summer, hence, to fill the void, the Los Blancos will be looking add players up.
Zinedine Zidane's philosophy has brought a major revamp in the style of Real Madrid and they are on the verge of lifting the La Liga crown after a long time. The Galacticos are siting on the top of the log ahead of Barcelona with one game still in hand.
But it is not just that, playing for the club like Real Madrid is a different stature and no one can deny this fact. Eden Hazard will surely be a great addition for Zidane, but the main issue would be his position on the field. Known for his blistering pace and cutting the comedy of defenders, Hazard usually plays on the flank and with Bale and Ronaldo an established quantity, Zidane will have a headache should the Belgium arrives.
Furthermore, with Madrid's transfer ban now reduced to a single window, they will do everything in their power to lure some top class talents. Eden, on his part, has been quite vocal about his future at the Bridge. Last November, the Belgium told Guardian that he will only leave Chelsea only after lifting a top tier crown.
“If I ever leave, it’ll be after winning a championship,” he said. “You need to go out on a high so that people remember you for the right reasons.”
Besides that, it is also understood that the Galacticos will be looking for a shot-stopper in summer to replace Keylor Navas, and if the reports are to believed, then they have made Hazard's compatriot Thibaut Courtois their top priority. The stopper, however, claimed that he wants to stay at the Bridge and wants to extend his stay, but Real Madrid are unarguably able to offer a contract which will be hard to refuse.
Expect a busy schedule in the summer.
