Former Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and England legend Teddy Sheringham was born on 2nd April 1966 in London. Sheringham played most of his career as a striker, renowned for his ability to score some stunning goals as well as being a big game player. When the pressure was on, Sheringham more often than not delivered. He started his career at Millwall and also had spells at Portsmouth and West Ham United. But he is best known for his spells at Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United at the peak of his career. All in all, Sheringham played 881 games in his career, scoring 342 goals. He also played 51 matches for England, scoring 11 goals. Sheringham has won almost all the major trophies at the club level, including the Premier League, the FA Cup and the UEFA Champions League. He has also ventured into management, last managing ISL club Atletico de Kolkata.
